What’s the Deal with Story? Carl Warmouth & Tom Velasco
Why is “story” so important to the development of a student’s moral character? Head of School Carl Warmouth and 12th grade Humanities teacher Tom Velasco discuss this topic that is critical to classical Christian education.

The Importance of Being Earnest November 22 & 23
The Importance of Being Earnest is the most renowned of Oscar Wilde’s comedies. It’s the story of two bachelors, John ‘Jack’ Worthing and Algernon ‘Algy’ Moncrieff, who create alter egos named Ernest to escape their tiresome lives. They attempt to win the hearts of two women who, conveniently, claim to only love men called Ernest. The pair struggle to keep up with their own stories and become tangled in a tale of deception, disguise and misadventure. The elaborate plot ridicules Victorian sensibilities with some of the best loved, and indeed bizarre, characters to be found on the modern stage. Join us for this riotous tale! November 22 & 23 Doors open at 6:30 pm; Curtain at 7:00 pm The Ambrose School Auxiliary Gym $5 each or $20 per family Junior Class Concessions – treats, popcorn, and drinks!

Pastor Appreciation Breakfast October 24th
We would like to show honor and appreciation to all our school families’ pastors with a Pastor Appreciation Breakfast on October 24th starting at 8:00 am. All K-12 students were asked to write a note to their pastor, inviting them to join us for this special meal. We are so thankful for the leadership and support that our pastors and their churches give to the students. We know that the “three-legged stool” of family, school, and church are what it takes to help a child succeed. If one of those legs is weak, the stool will topple. The breakfast is not just for pastors of school families. If you are a pastor of a church in our community, and would like to learn more about our school and enjoy fellowship with other area pastors, we invite you to join us. Please RSVP to the school office by calling 323-3888 or emailing office@theambroseschool.org.
NO SCHOOL Friday, November 1
There will be no school Friday, November 1st for parent teacher conferences. Parents, please check ParentSquare for signup information.
