Secretary

Senior Analyst at Inverta LLP, a digital marketing agency. B.A. in Liberal Arts with a double minor in Philosophy and Theology from Thomas Aquinas College. He has five children, two of which attend The Ambrose School, three others who will attend once old enough, and joined the board in 2019. Mr. Dale and his family attend All Saints Presbyterian Church.

Tim Pauls

Pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Boise. B.A. in Pre-Theology from Concordia University (Portland), M.Div. from Concordia Seminary (St. Louis). Rev. Pauls has two graduates of the school and joined the board in 2010.

Attorney, founder of Colby Nipper, an Intellectual Property Boutique. BS and MS in Engineering from the University of Washington, Juris Doctor from Duke Law. His four children attend the school and he has taught a preceptorial at the school since 2014. Mr. Colby and his family attend Faith Community Bible Church.

Realtor, Crosswinds Realty. Twenty five years in commercial construction. Graduate of Logos School in Moscow, Idaho. Stephen and his wife, Susan, have three children all attending the school. Mr. Sawyer and his family attend Faith Community Bible Church.

David Goodwin

President of the Association of Classical Christian Schools. Previous Headmaster of The Ambrose School. B.I.S. and M.B.A. from Boise State University. His three children attend or have graduated from the school and he has served on the board since 1995. Mr. Goodwin and his family attend All Saints Presbyterian Church.

Wade Ortego

Current Head of School. B.S., Business, Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee; M.Ed., Abilene Christian University. Mr. Ortego is an experienced leader in classical Christian education with a strong emphasis on maintaining and building a student culture. Wade and his wife, Rachel, have three boys attending the school and are members of The King’s Congregation.

Scott Yenor
Chairman

Professor of political philosophy at Boise State University. B.A., University of Wisconsin, M.A. and Ph.D from Loyola University. He has one child at the school and four graduates. He has served on the board for over eight years. Dr. Yenor and his family attend Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
